London Fashion Week Men's

I'm not a fashionista at all, but whenever there's an opportunity to watch a runway show I never refuse it. There's probably a lot of people that think these types of events are a display of vanity but the truth is that there is a lot of work involved in the composition of a show such as this one. For me, going to a runway show is almost like going to the theatre. A certain adrenaline fills up the room, the lights go down and the murmur of the spectators is replaced by the music in high volume that commands the pace of the models' walk. The whole thing lasts only about ten minutes but is the culmination of months of work.

This time the invitation came from Sasha, a Serbian / Portuguese stylist, responsible for the composition of the KTZ's fashion show presented in the most recent edition of London Fashion Week Men's. As I told you before my relationship with fashion is much more intuitive than academic, but the truth is that I find the opportunity to watch fashion shows always a bit exciting. Let me explain you why, these kinds of events are always somewhat peculiar. For instance, photographers plant themselves at the door of the event, get wild whenever a celebrity passes by and perch up on each other trying to get the best shot. The actual queue to enter the show is a fashion show itself as well. There's also a lot of eccentric characters who, even if they are not going to watch any of the shows, walk from event to event, wearing their own collections hoping to be photographed. I admire them not only for the creativity of their outfits but also for their perseverance. More than coming along to these shows to watch the collections I like to come for the circus in which fashion week becomes. I do say circus in a good way, I really admire people who allow their boldness and irreverence to break all the rules of this so-called "normality". After all what is fashion if not the celebration of our individuality?

/There aren't many pictures of the actual show itself because I was too distracted looking at the collection that is super cool by the way!
