É da ambição que nascem as revoluções e a The Body Shop tem ambição para dar e vender. A marca propôs-se a um desafio: banir os testes feitos em animais para fins cosméticos a nível mundial! Esta é a maior petição alguma vez levada até às Nações Unidas. Em 2013 a The Body Shop conseguiu mudar a lei e hoje em dia é proibido testar em animais na União Europeia mas, infelizmente, 80% dos países do mundo ainda o fazem. Confesso que este número me apanhou de surpresa, como é que é possível que em pelo 2017 ainda se recorra a esse tipo de testes? A The Body Shop precisa de 8 milhões de assinaturas para atingir o seu objectivo. Junta-te à revolução e assina a petição!
Ambition is the fuel of revolutions and The Body Shop is not afraid of being ambitious! The brand has set itself a challenge: ban animal testing for cosmetic purposes worldwide! This is the greatest petition ever brought to the United Nations. In 2013 The Body Shop was able to change the law and today it's forbidden to test in animals within the European Union but, unfortunately, 80% of the countries in the world still do. I confess that this number caught me by surprise, how is it possible that in 2017 we still do such tests? How is this still an issue? The Body Shop needs 8 million signatures to reach its goal. No lançamento da campanha estiveram presentes social influencers de vários países, incluíndo de Portugal. Por essa mesma razão acabei por ver também amigas de longa data. Deste modo, o evento não foi só inspirador mas também muito divertido!

Depois do evento fomos todas jantar no Redemption, um restaurante vegan. A comida e a conversa estavam tão boas que só saímos de lá quando já estavam a desligar as luzes. Venham visitar-me mais vezes meninas!/After the event we all went for dinner at Redemption, a vegan restaurant. The food and the conversation were so good that we just left when they were already turning the lights off. Come visit me more often girls!
