My Favourite Podcasts & Series
Knowing how to be in my own company and being able to silence my mind from external stimulus is a great challenge for me. I have huge difficulties in just doing nothing, my mind is always looking for new distractions, problems to solve and stories to entertain itself with. Thus wherever I am, I'm always either listening to a podcast, reading a book or watching a very hyped TV series or film. Acting is my passion, so I kind of use that excuse to justify all the time I spend watching box sets. Anyway, many hours invested in this kind of activities made me quite knowledgable I guess...Listening to podcasts is something new for me actually, I've only started doing it this year and I absolutely love this storytelling format because it makes activities such as going to the gym or editing hundreds of photos much more pleasant. I've put together a list of suggestions of the podcasts and series I have loved in the past few months. Don't follow my example and feed your brain with constant distraction, it's good to let your mind wander and be at peace with silence, I believe that's the state of mind from where great ideas come out.
Saber estar na minha companhia e conseguir silenciar a mente dos estímulos exteriores é um grande desafio para mim. Tenho grandes dificuldades em não fazer nada, a minha mente está sempre à procura de novos passatempos e histórias com que se entreter. Assim sendo, ocupo todos os meus tempos livres a ouvir podcasts, ler livros, ou a ver séries e filmes. A representação é a minha grande paixão, como tal uso essa desculpa para justificar o meu consumo abismal de Netflix. Tantas horas investidas neste tipo de actividades fazem com que me torne perita na coisa, julgo eu...Por acaso só comecei a ouvir podcasts este ano e estou rendida a este formato de contar histórias porque faz com que actividades como ir ao ginásio ou editar centenas de fotografias se tornem muito mais prazerosas. Assim sendo deixo-vos aqui sugestões daqueles que julgo serem os melhores podcasts e séries que consumi nos ultimos tempos. Não sigam o meu exemplo e não se entretenham constantemente com este tipo de distracções, é bom deixar a mente divagar e estar em paz com o silêncio porque é desse vazio que saem as grandes ideias.
P.s: As you can see the photos that follow have nothing to do with the subject of this post. To be honest I don't see much benefit in rambling about this outfit since you can see it for yourself in the pictures. Even though I love fashion I rather combine it with other subjects that I'm also passionate about.
P.s: Como podem ver as fotos que se seguem nada têm que ver com o tema deste post. Na verdade não vejo grande benefício em divagar sobre este outfit uma vez que conseguem vê-lo por vocês mesmos.
