Go Detox by Jean Louis David - product review
I'm back! Forgive me the lack of new content on the blog, I promise you it was for good reason. If you follow me on the Instagram maybe you know that I've been filming a movie in the Azores, hence my silence. It was a very intense and rewarding experience, to which I will certainly dedicate a blog post so that I can tell you everything about it!
For now I'd like to share with you a curiosity about this film: during this shoot I did not use any type of makeup or hair products. The story and my character asked for a very raw and naturalistic image, and that made the experience even better. Very rarely I get to be bare skin on screen and, in all honesty, it felt great! However, as a result of rolling on the ground, sweating and walking under the rain on a daily basis I ended up having to wash my hair every day which left it extremely dry and lifeless.
When I returned from the shoot the first thing I did was to get a hair cut in order to make it healthier again. In addition to that, I decided to start using Jean Louis David's Go Detox line in order to moisturise it and restore the softness and shine lost during the shoot.

Por agora queria apenas partilhar convosco uma curiosidade sobre as filmagens: durante este filme não usei qualquer tipo de maquilhagem ou produtos de cabelo. Assim foi porque a história e o meu personagem o pediam. E, para ser honesta, tal escolha fez desta experiência algo ainda mais especial, muito raramente estou de pele e cabelo limpos no ecrã e a verdade é que me senti maravilhosamente bem ao fazê-lo. No entanto, como consequência de rebolar na terra, de suar e de andar à chuva diariamente acabei por ter de lavar o cabelo todos os dias o que o deixou extremamente baço e sem vida. Assim que regressei fui ao cabeleireiro para que lhe dessem um valente corte de modo a torná-lo mais saudável. Para além disso recorri à ajuda dos produtos Go Detox da marca Jean Louis David para o hidratar e voltar a fazer com que ganhasse a suavidade e o brilho que perdeu durante as filmagens.

My hair is very long and, as such, I have a preference for light products. Go Detox, in addition to its nutrition value, manages to revitalize the hair without making it heavy.
As if that weren't enough, Bruma Go Detox completes my ritual perfectly, I usually apply it on damp hair to give it extra shine and protection!
